In October of 2005, Bowhaus moved into its new home...a facility designed and built specifically for the purpose of a dog daycare and boarding business. We made sure there would be LOTS of room for running and playing, both inside and out. With over 13,000 square feet of outside play area — covered with forgiving and hygenic pea gravel — our dog guests have plenty of space to get up to full speed. And for those inclement days, the indoor play area boasts 4,000 sq. ft. of rubber flooring. Overnight guests enjoy the cozy benefits of radiant floor heat.

Bowhaus' greatest asset, however, is our core group of four-legged friends. In 2001 we purchased a six year old business comprised of the friendliest, most playful, yet well-mannered group of canines anyone could ever expect to find. For the following four years, Bowhaus thrived solely by word-of-mouth, introducing new dogs to the established group — where through observational learning and human supervision, they picked up the pack mentality and good habits of our dog herd. Now at our Erie location our mature and attentive staff ensures the continuance of good canine behavior while at the same time encouraging "dogs to be dogs."

Bowhaus does not charge extra for holidays, administering meds, special diets, etc. We provide webcams for vicarious enjoyment for our two-legged friends.
